Cake Zine friends,
We’re back with a new shirt inspired by our summer issue Candy Land. It’s our nostalgic homage to the classic Tootsie Pop, complete with a 3D-rendered lollipop bursting through a crinkled wrapper, created in collaboration with design studio Social Species and artist Peter John Kearney. Supplies are very limited (they flew off the shelves at the party), so snag one while you can.
We’ve also released more sizing for all the shirts in our archive: our oddball gingerbread man Tough Cookie tee, a diner order style Humble Pie shirt, and the cult classic Death by Chocolate fave with Sohla El-Waylly’s Wicked Cake recipe printed on the back. All shirts are designed in collaboration with Social Species and printed in Brooklyn on Comfort Colors unisex shirts.
If you attended our recent launch party at Public Records, we’d love your feedback on this short survey. We’re hard at work on plans for the fall, with updates coming soon and would love to hear more from you. As a token of our appreciation, take 10% off our new issue with the code CANDYLAND at cakezine.com.
